  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup strawberry jam
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet mixture; mix until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into balls, flatten into discs, and create wells in half of them for jam filling.
  7. Fill wells with strawberry jam and top with remaining discs; crimp edges to seal.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden; cool on wire racks.
