Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup canned or jarred artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices of bread, your choice
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chopped spinach in a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 1–2 minutes until wilted.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sautéed spinach with artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Place two slices butter side down on a surface and generously spread the spinach-artichoke mixture on top.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices butter side up. Grill in a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, slice in half, and serve warm.
