  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • Reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken in olive oil until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  4. Lower heat to medium; melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey and let simmer before adding heavy cream.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
  7. Fold in drained pasta, using reserved water if needed for desired consistency.
