  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping the cabbage and slicing the green onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for one minute until fragrant.
  4. Toss in chopped cabbage and cook for another five minutes until slightly wilted.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Pour over the stir-fry and combine well.
  6. Cook for an additional two minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve hot garnished with green onions.
