  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole or 2%)

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese and buttermilk gently until just combined. Drop spoonfuls into a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Pour over the biscuit layer.
  5. Top with crumbled turkey bacon and additional cheese.
