Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packs Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls (5 count)
  • 4 large apples (2 Honeycrisp and 2 Granny Smith)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 5 tbsp butter (partially melted)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a muffin tin with softened butter.
  2. Peel, slice, and dice the apples; combine with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, melted butter, and cornstarch mixture.
  3. Assemble by placing apple filling in each cinnamon roll cavity in the muffin tin.
  4. Prepare the streusel topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and partially melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle generously over filled rolls.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes while loosely covering with foil for the first five minutes to avoid over-browning.
  6. Whisk together icing ingredients while rolls bake; drizzle over warm rolls once slightly cooled.
