  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine flour and salt. Add cold butter cubes and pulse until the mixture resembles wet sand.

  4. Roll out one disc to fit your pie dish, trim excess dough, and freeze for 15 minutes.
  5. Dock with a fork and par-bake for 20 minutes, then let cool slightly.
  6. In a bowl, mix apple butter, eggs, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Pour into the crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set around edges but slightly wobbly in center.
